Reroof America has been a family-owned roofing company since 1979. Today we bring that experience to the East Metro from our office in Maplewood, serving St. Paul and the surrounding suburbs with roofing built for the way Minnesota actually weathers — snow, sleet, ice, subzero cold, and the hailstorms that roll through every summer. Whether your roof is fighting an ice dam in January or a hail bruise in July, we're the local team that shows up, does it right, and keeps the heat where it belongs: inside your home.
Winter-Ready Roofing for Minnesota Homes
Minnesota winters are among the toughest roofing environments in the country. Heavy snowfall, deep freeze-thaw swings, and weeks of subzero temperatures create ice dams, heavy snow loads, and the kind of slow, hidden moisture damage that shortens a roof's life. In the Twin Cities, conditions line up for serious ice-dam damage every few winters — and the East Metro's older housing stock is especially vulnerable. A properly insulated, well-ventilated, weather-sealed roof isn't a luxury here. It's what keeps your home dry, warm, and structurally sound.
Reroof America offers:
Snow-resistant, high-load roofing systems engineered for Minnesota snowfall.
Proper attic insulation and ventilation to stop ice dams before they form.
Weather-sealed, code-compliant installations built for the freeze-thaw cycle.
Ice-and-water shield at the eaves and valleys where dams do their damage.

Roofing for Every Minnesota Season
Winter — Ice Dams & Snow Load
Snow melts against a warm roof deck, runs down, and refreezes at the cold eaves — forming an ice dam that forces water back up under your shingles and into the house. The fix is rarely just the roof surface; it's insulation, ventilation, and ice-and-water protection working together. We treat the whole system.
Summer — Hail & High Winds
Minnesota leads the nation in hail-damage losses, and hail season runs April through September with a June–August peak. A single storm can bruise or fracture shingles in ways that aren't visible from the ground but shorten a roof's life dramatically. We do free, no-pressure storm inspections and document everything for your insurer.
Spring — Freeze-Thaw & Snowmelt
Twin Cities springs can swing 30°F in a single day, driving repeated freeze-thaw cycles that crack, lift, and fatigue roofing materials. As the snow finally clears, it's the ideal time for an evaluation to catch winter's hidden damage before spring rains find it.
Fall — The Window to Get Ready
Autumn is the smartest time to repair or replace, before the first hard freeze. A roof squared away in October is a roof that sails through a Minnesota January. Book your fall evaluation and head into winter with confidence.
Why a Licensed, Local Roofer Matters in Minnesota
After every big Twin Cities hailstorm, out-of-state "storm chasers" flood the metro, knock on doors, and disappear before the warranty is worth anything. Minnesota wrote laws specifically to protect homeowners from them — and we operate on the right side of every one:
We're a licensed Minnesota residential roofer (MN LIC #BC637481), bonded and insured as state law requires.
We follow Minn. Stat. §325E.66 — it's illegal in Minnesota for a contractor to pay or absorb your insurance deductible, and we'll never make that shady offer. We put the deductible rule in writing on every estimate, as the law requires.
We're here year-round with a real Maplewood address — so your warranty means something long after the job is done.
BBB A+ Accredited. A family-owned roofing company since 1979 — now your neighbors in the East Metro.
Storm Damage & Insurance Claims — How We Help
After a hail or wind storm, we'll inspect your roof, document the damage in detail, and provide a thorough repair or replacement estimate. If you choose to file a claim, we'll meet your insurance adjuster on site so nothing gets overlooked, and we'll complete the work to code once it's approved.
To be clear about our role: we're your roofing contractor, not a public adjuster. We don't file, negotiate, or manage the claim on your behalf, and we can't promise a specific payout — but we make sure the damage is clearly documented and the repair is done right. And per Minnesota law (Minn. Stat. §325E.66), we'll never offer to pay or waive your deductible.
